What’s on the SAT Test?
Reading
The SAT reading test is a multiple choice exam with five total passages. Each passage is 500 - 750 words long with 10-11 questions per passage. There will be passage(s) in Literature, Social Studies, Social Science, and Science.
Math
The SAT Math test contains 58 questions and is covered over two sections. Question types include multiple choice and grid-in. Areas covered are broken into Heart of Algebra, Data Analysis, Passport to Advanced Math, and Additional Topics.
Writing / Language
The SAT writing test is a multiple choice exam. It has four passages with one passage having a graph. Each one is is 350 - 450 words long with 10-11 questions per passage. It is a test of basic grammar, as well as of style, tone, and syntax.
Essay
The Essay portion of the SAT exam is optional. It requires students to read a passage, analyze the author’s argument and demonstrate an ability to write an effective essay. A total of 50 minutes is allotted for this portion.

Concept Review
We’ll follow a detailed curriculum that covers every concept on the SAT. During our meet ups, we’ll cover 86 different concepts, review exam pitfalls, go over test-taking tips, and practice questions.
Daily Questions
I will track your child’s performance diligently. Then I’ll push questions and concepts daily to him/her through WhatsApp between our meet up days. We’ll turn weaknesses into strengths.
Homework
Homework will serve to help students improve their performance in areas of weakness. Homework may include questions to practice, videos to watch, or chapters to read in a book.
Exam Practice
2 practice exams will be given, reviewed, and analyzed. I’ll go over the exam scores and use each student’s performance to further hone in on areas of exam improvement.

Khan Academy
Khan Academy’s videos and SAT questions are a critical part of the homework assignments.
Google Classroom
A Google Classroom account is set up to communicate and save documents, links, images, etc.
Quizizz
Quizizz is a great tool for testing students in a group setting to make sure everyone participates.
